Delicious fresh food! This spot is affordable, excellent quality, and offers kind service. I could eat here every day. The plantains are my new favorite in ABQ. (Divine pabellon arepa and pabellon empanada pictured)

I'm a Doordasher and Uber driver so I get introduced to new places every week, but El Chamo Arabe will stand out as THE BEST EMPINADA I've ever had. It was THICK with seasoned shredded beef, slightly sweet, and super juicy. Dipped in the yogurt sauce.... PHENOMENAL! The gal at the counter is super friendly and I will be returning for lunch every week.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the location in Enchanted Hills, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The cashier was incredibly helpful, taking the time to thoroughly explain the menu to us. She was also very lovely and made us feel welcome. The food was outstanding; we tried the empanadas de pollo and the lamb shawarma, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

My absolute favorite place to get hummus / baba ghanoush! Their pita is amazing. And of course I'm addicted to their black beans and rice! Whether it be the vegetarian plate or the empanada. I eat here at least once a week because I can't get enough. And I was very grateful that they understand and offer vegan dishes. Some places don't realize that vegan means no dairy or egg as well. So when I did order the vegetarian plate she let me know One of the sauces was dairy-based which was so amazing that she understood my needs.

Small place, only 10 tables with five seats at a counter. Walk up counter to order, pretty art. I ordered the Gyro plate, so good! I will order extra sauce next time, it’s so good. Rice was perfectly cooked, very light dressing on the lettuce. Had a fresh blackberry juice, nice and cold, very refreshing. They have fresh passion fruit also, I’ll try next time!
